TERMS OF BUSINESS
BUSINESS HOURS - Because we are an
internet based business, we are open to order 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. All orders will be processed and shipped in a timely manner. We ship Monday thru Friday via UPS or common carrier.
ORDERING - We accept credit cards and echeck payments through Paypal. For mail-in orders we offer a printable order form on our website to simplify the process, or if you don't have a printer, just copy the form onto a piece of paper. Please make sure that all necessary information is included, year, make, model, engine type (CVH/SPI or Zetec) and transmission type (manual or automatic), and complete description and part numbers. This will minimize processing errors and allow faster shipping.
PAYMENTS - We currently accept credit cards, echecks, personal checks, bank checks, and money orders. No C.O.D. shipments will be accepted. Residents of countries outside the United States must pay in U.S. currency, and are responsible for shipping / duty charges at whatever current rates apply to their particular country. There are no sales taxes charged on out of state shipments. The shipping charges include insurance.
BACKORDERS - We do occasionally run out of certain items. In these cases, we will ship everything else on the order and ship the balance as soon as it becomes available. Backorders will be held for 60 days. You will be notified and given the choice to reorder, choose an alternate item, or cancel the order. Be sure to include a daytime phone number, or email address with your order so we can notify you of any backordered products.
SPECIAL ORDERS - We occasionally get requests for specialized products that are not in our catalog or on the website. We can get almost anything related to the Escort or Focus cars so if you don't see it, just ask. Special orders are non-returnable Used parts as sold "as is" and are checked to be in good working order before shipping. They are not returnable
NON RETURNABLE ITEMS - Due to the cost and/or the policies of companies / manufacturers we deal with, some items are marked NON RETURNABLE. These items are covered under the standard warranties and if found to be defective, will be replaced with the exact same part. They are not
subject to credit or refunds.
RETURNS - All returns item(s) must be authorized by and returned to E.F.P. within 30 days of the shipping date (plus 5 days allowable for outgoing shipping / delivery time) and is subject to merchandise only. No shipping or handling charges will be refunded. Unless we made an error, the customer will pay all handling and shipping fees on any / all returned item(s). This does not apply to any defective item(s). If an item is found to be defective, it will be replaced with the same item at no charge to the customer including all shipping and handling charges.
Any special order item(s), item(s) marked as "non-returnable", installed, damaged, incomplete, or modified part(s) will not be accepted by E.F.P. and will be returned to the original customer at their expense. All returns must be accompanied by the original invoice and include all parts shipped with the item. All item(s) will be inspected before issuing any refund. Refunds will be
made in the same payment manner that we received (PayPal, check, money order, ect) and only to the original purchaser.
WARRANTIES - All parts will be covered by the manufacturers warranties and or guarantees unless otherwise stated. E.F.P. will not assume any responsibility or liability for use or application by the user. (See Disclaimer) Any claims of damaged goods from transit are the sole responsibility of the carrier. Always examine your package carefully and notify the carrier immediately if there is a problem.
